Gluing the Seal to my Blog!
First, choose the Seals you like!

1. Copying the CodeAfter signing up and logging in, click on the “Copy Sealtale Code” button.

Then, there pops up the code that allows you to carry away the Seals to your personal space.

(You can just click on ' at the login page)

Click on the “copy code” button to copy Sealtale Code(you can also drag the code with mouse and use ctrl+c or right click and copy).

2. Click Dashboad - Appearance - Widgets

3. Drag “Text” box from the “Available Widgets” list at the left of the menu to the “Side bar”.
Widgets (The example below might look a different depending on the Theme)

4. Move the “Text” box to the place you wish, and let go of your mouse button. Then, there pops up a new

window like this. Write an appropriate title and paste in the Sealtale code you have copied.

(Right-click in the box and choose “Paste” or just hit Ctrl + V)

5. If you click on save at the bottom, it is finished!

2. Move onto your blog. Select “Layout” in “Dashboard” menu of your blog.

3. Click on “Add a Garget” in your Layout page

4. Click on HTML/Javascript in the pop-up window.

5. Paste in Sealtale code to the “Content” in the pop-up window. (Right-click in the box and choose “Paste” or just hit Ctrl + V)

6. If you click on “save,” it is all done!!

2. Move on to Tumblr. Enter “Dashboard” of your Tumblr.

3. Click on “Customize” menu of the “Dashboard”

4. Click on “Info” menu at the upper-left corner of “Customize” page. Paste in Sealtale code into the “Description” of “Info” menu. (Right-click in the box and choose “Paste” or just hit Ctrl + V)

Then, click on 'save changes' to end the customize process.

Introduction to Sealtale’s service

Seals are in shapes like emblems.

Like this, Seal is a widget that the users can attach on their personal spaces to represent their interests, inclinations, preferences, opinions, and identity.

Sealtale provides two largely different services.
First is the Tale (Related Postings) Service. Through Tag RSS, Sealtale filters and selects the postings that are related to the Seal the user has glued on to his/her personal space. These postings are automatically updated to Tale menu of Sealbook.

[Step1] If you wish to show or tell the others something, just put them up in your blog or homepage.
Sealtale will update them to Sealbook according to its category

Ex) If you update a new content to the blog, community, homepage, and etc, the postings related to the Seal you are using will be updated to Tale menu in the Seal.

[Step2] The users who have glued the Seals on their blog, community, or etc can read the updated postings in their Seals whenever they login to their personal spaces

Ex) The users with the same Seal can just click on the Seal to see the updated new contents.
If you click on the content, you will move on to the page of the content.

How to plus and minus the Seals.

I’ll teach you how to plus and minus the Seals.

(you will understand why we call adding and removing in this way, when you look at our seal page)

Can you see above there in the main page?
The menu called Glue a Seal?
Let’s click on it~! Go go.

If you click on “Glue a Seal”, you will see many types of Seals.
Select the Seals that strike your fancy and click on the plus button at the upper corner.
Then, they will be piled up in the cart at the left.

I was talking about this one right here.
If the Seals you have added are no longer appealing, you can click on the minus button to remove them.

Yeap! If you click on the minus button here, the Seal will disappear from the cart.
Isn’t it cool? Mm… There is another way to add the Seal, other than clicking on the plus button.

If you click on the Seals themselves, not the plus button, “Seal in page” will pop up.
In the “Seal in page”, you can have a look around several factors and information about the Seal.

By pressing the “Add Seal” button here, you can glue the Seal to your space.

If you think you are ready to take away the Seals,
Press “Apply on your blog”
Then, you will see this sign. “Please login first”

If you are our member, you can just login.
If you are not, you can press on the “yes” button.

Then, the signup window pops up.

To sign up, you just need to select the host of your personal space and type in your email, blog address, and nickname.

After Signing up,

Copy the Sealbook to your blog and the gluing process will be finished!

1) What is sealtale?

Bloggers can plug in a widget called “Seal” onto their own blog. “Seal” can be pictures, multimedia, or flash-animations that expresses their personal tastes or advocacies for certain causes. They can even create their own “Seal”. Also, “Seal” can network and share information concerning the interests of them through Tag-RSS and so on.

2) User's scenario

STEP1. Let’s Attach the Seals
Choosing the seals that express what I am, what I like, what I love, and what I support.

Profile expressed through Seal
Without creating an additional space, I can use the seals directly in my existing space.

Seals can be expressed in images, multimedia etc, so that anyone can understand me over the language barriers.

STEP2. Users can choose or create the seal themselves.

They can also request them on the website

If a seal that represents or advocates certain messages he/she wants to express, the user can request them. Through voting, the seals with highest numbers of vote will be created the earliest. The elected seals will be made by Sealtale or freelance designers.

The users can create seals that contain his/her motto, picture, personal interest, and numerous other things that represent his/her identity. They can also share their creations with other users.

STEP3. Let’s Network (Connect, communicate?)

Anybody with similar interests can become friends. Any relationship that is connected through similar interests can last longer.

It does not matter whether the user’s personal space is facebook, myspace, tumbler, and etc. As long as the users have same seals, they can network with each other.

If the user writes a new posting to his/her own space, the others who have the same seals can read it through Tale menu in the Sealbook. In the tale menu, he or she can also read the postings of other users’ that are related to the seal.
